As I write this, I am looking out the window at the flat calm lake and watching two bass fisherman casting and shore birds flying by. One of the benefits of our lovely new home.

Having our house designed was easily the best decision we made in the entire building process. No amount of modifications to someone's stock plan would have produced the wonderful house we are now living in.

Tammis designed a house that really fits our site. It truly is a "Lake House". There are great views from all the rooms that matter and the size and the layout answered everything we asked for. Tammis also captured the traditional look that we wanted. Our home looks like it's always been here.

We have been in our house for six months now and none of the excitement of it has worn off for me. I am still amazed when I walk into our master suite and look out over the lake at the Detroit skyline in the distance.

Her design and the great execution by our builder and his team has made this a really great experience.
